Dodge County Education: 3,721 students were enrolled in 2024-25 school year

There were 3,721 students enrolled in Dodge County schools in the 2024-25 school year, 1.2% less than the previous year, according to reports from the Minnesota Department of Education.

In terms of gender distribution, the student body in Dodge County comprised 51.6% boys, with girls representing the remaining 48.4%.

Data also showed that white students made up 84.2% of the student body, the largest percentage in Dodge County schools, followed by Hispanic students with 9.7%, 4% multiracial students, 1.2% Black students, 0.5% American Indian students, 0.4% Asian students, 0.1% Hawaiian Pacific Islander students and less than 0.1% Other Indigenous Peoples students.

Kasson-Mantorville Elementary had the highest enrollment among Dodge County's nine schools in the 2024-25 school year, welcoming 796 students.

With more than 870,000 students enrolled, Minnesota's public school system is the 10th-largest in the United States. As of 2025 the student-to-teacher ratio in the state’s public schools is 15 to 1, on par with the national average.
