Census Bureau: 5.2% of people in Mower County identified as multiracial in 2021

Of the 39,985 citizens living in Mower County in 2021, 94.8% said they were only one race, while 5.2% said they were two or more races, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained in June.

The most prevalent racial group among citizens in Mower County who reported being of a single race in 2021 was white, comprising 81.7% or 32,671 individuals. Following them, Asian accounted for 5.1% and totaled 2,023 individuals.
