City Of Oronoco recently issued the following announcement.
The City of Oronoco is hosting a community blood drive, open to the public at the Oronoco Community Center! This blood drive will be on Thursday, September 15th from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Every 10 minutes someone in Olmsted County is in need of a blood transfusion. You can help meet the needs of people in health crises. Donated blood helps meet many medical needs — including saving the life of a premature baby, restoring the strength of a cancer patient, and providing a critical transfusion to someone who has been in an accident.
There is no substitute for human blood — all transfusions use blood from a donor.
