City Of Oronoco recently issued the following announcement.
The Gold Rush Board members will be meeting multiple times in preparation for and the Gold Rush event this year.
Saturday, July 30, 8 AM – Noon, marking vendor lots corners, meet at Community Center
Tuesday, August 2, National Night Out, meet at 4:30 PM – 8 PM, meet at Oronoco Park to grill and prepare food
Thursday, August 4 – 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM – Putting up Pepsi banners and sail flags on streets and highway, meet at Community Center
Wednesday, August 10 – 6 PM – 9 PM , Marking vendor lots, meet at Community Center
Friday, August 12 – 6 PM – 8 PM, If needed complete vendor marking not completed August 10, meet at Community Center
Saturday, August 13 – 7:30 PM – Noon – Mark all the vendor lots with striping crew and machines, meet at Community Center
Wednesday, August 17, 6 PM – 8 PM, Place white flags with vendor names on lots, meet at Community Center
Thursday, August 18 – 8 AM – 6 PM, Prepare for vendor arrival at 11 AM. Support vendors unloading and answering questions. Meet at Information Booth trailer at Post Office
Friday – Sunday, August 19 – 21, Gold Rush event, meet at Information booth trailer at 7:30 AM each day.
