Of the 117,134 people living in Rochester in 2020, 51.1 percent (59,890) were women and 48.9 percent (57,244) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SE Minnesota News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 1,116. In the 65 and over age range, there were 10,134 females and 7,537 males.
