Petoftheweek

City Of Canton issued the following announcement on Mar. 22.

FINAL REMINDER: If you haven't picked up your 2022 pet license, you have until March 31 to do so at the reduced rate. On April 1, the cost of a license increases from $5 to $15, as stated in the annual fee schedule approved by the city council. All cats and dogs, over the age of six months, are required to be licensed with the City every year. Proof of current vaccinations is an ordinance requirement.

Vaccination records must be provided at the time of licensing. New animals, brought into your home after March 31, are exempt from the late licensing fee. Please contact city hall with additional questions.
