City of Canton issued the following announcement on Oct. 5.
Another quarter has ended, so we're crunching the numbers. Once again, we're happy to report that employee wages paid out during the quarter align with the budgeted amount. As of September 30, General Fund spending on wages totaled $51,521.30 for the year. The council approved CY2020 wages totaling $69,500.00. Do the math and that equates to 74% of the annual budget. With three-quarters of the year behind us, we're on track to end the year with a budget bullseye -- and we're committed to make that happen.
