Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Riverland Community College

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Riverland Community College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Minnesota students paid $5,570 to attend the two-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 84 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 215 students received grants or scholarships totaling $999,587 and 126 students took out student loans totaling more than $645,549.

Including all undergraduates (3,263), 1,688 students used grants or scholarships totaling $6.4 million, and 751 students took out $4.7 million in federal student loans.
