City of Bellechester issued the following announcement on Aug. 8.
We have 2 council seats and mayor seat up for election this fall. Mayor seat is for 2 years and each council seat is for 4 year terms. We have a form that needs to filled out along with a $2.00 filing fee which needs to be received by the city during the two-week filing period, which is July 28, 2020 until August 11, 2020 at 5 pm. Council meetings are once a month, on the 2nd Wednesday @ 10:00 at the Bellechester Community Center. Council members must be available for regular meetings and special meetings as needed.
