City Of Houston issued the following announcement on May 6.
Please put your trash and recycling out by 6 am on Tuesdays. We recommend putting it out on Monday night. If you do not have your trash out by 6 am, it will not be picked up.
Any trash left beside the cart will not be picked up. You can order a larger cart from City Hall (507-896-4033).
Please do not put loose trash in your trash cart, use garbage bags. Loose garbage can blow out when dumping from the cart to the Garbage truck.
Please do not overload your trash cart. You will need to order a larger cart if you cannot fit your trash in your current cart and be able to close the lid.
Please call City Hall with questions or concerns. City of Houston has the contract with Waste Management so please go through City Hall with your questions or concerns.
