CITY OF CHATFIELD: Thurber Building Closed To The Public

Announcement

City of Chatfield issued the following announcement on March 17

In order to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and after considering the guidance of the federal Centers for Disease control and Prevention (CDC) and the Minnesota Department of Health, The Thurber Building will close to the public until further notice.

The health and safety of the city staff and every member of our community are our first priorities as we work through these extraordinary times.  While our physical operations are closing, we remain fully staffed and available to serve the community’s needs.

You are encouraged to connect with city staff through the city website, by phone and by email.  If you have business that is time-sensitive and must be conducted in person, call 507-867-3810 to make an appointment.  City staff will do their best to accommodate your request.

The City of Chatfield has been working with local, county and state partners to help protect the health and wellness of both the community and employees during the rapidly changing coronavirus outbreak.  The City is making these changes while still ensuring it can provide essential services to residents.
