City of Austin issued the following announcement on March 12
We invite the public to enjoy the “Our Austin Our America” exhibit on display in Austin City Hall Council Chambers and Main Floor Hallway through April 17th . The main hallway portraits may be viewed anytime during regular business hours. The Council Chambers are open with exceptions for scheduled meetings.
This innovative project shows how Austin has chosen to embrace our growing diversity. The portrait exhibit features many of the people at the heart of enriching our community and we continue to add participants. We are in the process of gathering their compelling stories and will be featuring them in a book along with the portraits by professional photographer and Austin native, William Taufic.
