REQUEST TO FILL VACANCIES ON BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS

The City of Austin is accepting applications for open positions on several boards and commissions, see the list below.

Sustainability Taskforce               Cable TV Committee

Election Judge Opportunities

The City of Austin is looking for citizens to work as election judges for the presidential primary on March 3, 2020, the primary on August 11, 2020 and the general election November 3, 2020. Judges are paid for their time and are required to take a training class provided by the City Clerk. Judges must be a resident of Minnesota, eligible to vote and able to read, write and communicate in English. Bilingual judges are encouraged to apply. The duties of an election judge include setting up the polling place, operating voting equipment, registering voters, assisting voters and answering questions, distributing ballots and certifying polling place results.
