Congressman Brad Finstad, who represents Minnesota’s 1st district, has recently highlighted several initiatives and meetings on his official Twitter account, including updates for students, farmers, and housing advocates.
On October 20, 2025, Finstad encouraged student participation in a national technology competition, posting: "Only 10 more days to participate in the 2025 Congressional App Challenge. Register now at https://t.co/7iKkFrJJWv. The deadline to submit is Oct. 30th. Excited to see what our #MN01 students create this year! https://t.co/xuA6gVSefL".
Two days later, on October 22, 2025, Finstad addressed recent developments in agricultural policy and federal agency operations, stating: "Great news for America’s farmers! President Trump is putting producers first. USDA is resuming critical Farm Service Agency operations to keep loans, programs, and harvests moving despite the Democrat shutdown. https://t.co/1kYLCNYPPB".
On the same day, he shared an update about his engagement with local organizations focused on housing: "Glad to meet with the Greater Minnesota Housing Fund this week to discuss their work to deliver affordable housing options across communities in #MN01 and across the state of Minnesota. Finstad has served as the U.S. Representative for Minnesota’s 1st district since 2022, following a previous tenure in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2003 to 2009. He was born and currently resides in New Ulm, Minnesota, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota.
