The Winona County Board of Commissioners is seeking volunteers to serve on several citizen advisory committees for 2026. The committees include the Board of Adjustment, Economic Development Authority, Extension, Health & Human Services Advisory, Parks and Environment, Personnel Board of Appeals, Planning Commission, and SELCO Board of Directors.
According to the announcement, individuals interested in being appointed or reappointed to these committees must submit their applications by 4:00 p.m. on December 3, 2025. Applications can be completed online at https://www.winonacounty.gov/271/Career-Opportunities or picked up in person at the County Office Building, located at 202 West Third Street, Winona, MN 55987. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and the phone number for inquiries is (507) 457-6352.
These advisory committees provide input and recommendations on various issues affecting Winona County, such as economic development, health and human services, environmental concerns, and planning.
