On August 21, 2025, Finstad shared his participation in a discussion focused on small business support: "I joined the Austin Chamber of Commerce with @SBADeputy_Bill for a roundtable discussion on how federal policy can best support Austin’s small business community and local families. Later that day, he addressed regulatory concerns affecting farmers: "This week, I joined Southeast MN farmers and EPA Region 5 Administrator Anne Vogel to discuss reversing the Biden Admin's regulatory overreach in response to politically motivated, anti-agriculture activists. Brad Finstad has served as U.S. Representative for Minnesota’s 1st District since replacing Jim Hagedorn in 2022. Before joining Congress, he was a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2003 to 2009. Born in New Ulm, Minnesota in 1976, Finstad continues to reside there and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota.
