U.S. Congressman Brad Finstad, who represents Minnesota’s 1st district, shared updates on recent community engagements and legislative efforts through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) in August 2025.
On August 16, Finstad reflected on his experience at a major local event, writing, "It was a great day at the Steele County Fair, which I’m always proud to say has been the largest county fair in Minnesota for over 80 years. Brad Finstad has served as U.S. Representative for Minnesota’s 1st District since replacing Jim Hagedorn in 2022. He previously held office in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2003 to 2009. Born in New Ulm in 1976 and currently residing there at age 46, Finstad earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota.
