Finstad has served as Minnesota’s 1st District representative since replacing Jim Hagedorn in 2022 and previously held office in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2003 to 2009. Born in New Ulm in 1976 and currently residing there, he graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree.
