Today, Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01) announced his support for the Department of Defense Appropriations Act, 2026, also known as H.R. 4016.

Finstad expressed that the bill provides essential funding to the Armed Forces while ensuring fiscal responsibility. He stated, "This bill delivers critical funding to our Armed Forces while maintaining fiscal responsibility. It continues our historic investment in military personnel, ensures our military remains the most capable and competitive fighting force in the world, counters our adversaries around the globe, and enhances our border security and counter drug programs."

The congressman emphasized that strong investments in the defense industrial base are crucial for maintaining a strategy focused on national defense through strength. "By making strong investments in the defense industrial base, we are putting the DoD on the best path forward to carry out an America-first, Peace Through Strength approach to national defense," Finstad added.

Finstad's vote reflects his commitment to supporting measures that bolster U.S. military capabilities and enhance national security.
