Congressman Brad Finstad, a member of the House Armed Services Committee, has expressed his support for the committee's approval of H.R. 3838. This legislation, known as the Streamlining Procurement for Effective Execution and Delivery and National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2026, aims to reduce bureaucratic hurdles in national defense.

"During my time in Congress, I’ve worked to champion policies that cut government red tape for southern Minnesotans, and I’m proud to support this year’s NDAA that does the same for our nation’s defense," stated Rep. Finstad. He emphasized the importance of efficiency in military operations to ensure timely access to necessary resources.

Finstad also highlighted the significance of maintaining America's global competitiveness through strategic investments. "Maintaining America’s competitiveness is a critical component of Peace Through Strength," he said. The NDAA seeks to enhance the defense industrial base and supply chains while investing in innovation to counter threats from countries like China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea.

The congressman expressed pride in supporting this bipartisan legislation during the committee stage and looks forward to backing it on the House Floor.
