2021 has 2.7% of Winona County residents unemployed

Winona County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 781 people out of the 49,889 living in Winona County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Winona County has decreased compared to the 3.3% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Winona County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4%.

Of the 28,080 people who had a job during that time, 37 were employed in the Armed Forces and 28,043 belonged to the civilian labor force.
