ROCHESTER, MINN. – Rochester Civic Music is announcing the band lineup, dates, and venues for the 2023 forWARD Neighborhood Park Concerts.
The free, Wednesday evening forWARD Neighborhood Park Concerts are live music events showcasing local bands and regional emerging headliners. Concerts are held in six different walkable, pet friendly, and bike trail connected parks, one in each city ward. Local food trucks, craft beer, and family-friendly fun with the Rochester Public Library's Bookmobile and Rochester Park & Rec’s Go! Play! Explore! Mobile Rec Trailer, round out these must-attend community events.
Come explore some of Rochester’s most beautiful green spaces as the backdrop to these midweek summer evenings of exhilarating live music, mouth-watering local cuisine, and family fun activities. Minneapolis based genre bending musician Mae Simpson kicks off the free outdoor concert series by headlining the Wednesday, June 7 concert at Cook Park in Rochester’s Ward 5.“We are looking forward to another fantastic season of music in our beautiful parks,” shares Avital Rabinowitz, Director of Civic Music. “This year, we’re excited to provide even more to do and see by offering expanded food and beverage options, as well as hosting Rochester Public Library’s Bookmobile and Rochester Park & Rec’s Go! Play! Explore! Mobile Rec Trailer at each concert!”
