The next Golden Apple award goes to a genuinely kind human who will offer a helping hand to anyone in need. He is an exceptional middle school teacher, compassionate coworker, and an involved member of our community.
Matt Cada is a math teacher at the 7-8 building. His students and parents speak highly of him as a teacher and a person. He goes above and beyond to help students in the classroom on top of being part of many clubs, groups, and activities in the 7-8 building and always with a smile on his face.
While his coworkers won’t be surprised by his recognition, he will as he is an incredibly humble person. Matt is a positive, involved, and approachable person and coworker. He helps anyone who needs it without a second thought. He is an intelligent person, with great insight, and an upbeat personality.
While Matt is involved in many activities in our community, his ability to work with all ages of students is truly remarkable. After each school year, Matt spends his summer with the younger PEM kids coaching numerous age levels of youth baseball and softball. If you have had the opportunity to have a child you love be coached by Coach Cada in the t-ball or Joe Mauer leagues, you can attest to how amazing he is! He puts a smile on all the kids’ faces – and the parents’, as well.
We are fortunate to have Matt as part of our PEM staff and community.
