Gift cards are for gifts, NOT payments. No business is going to call you and demand payment by a gift card. No Law Enforcement organization will demand payment via gift card for services, bail, or to help a relative. No gas or power company will demand a gift card to avoid shutting off your services. Anyone who calls you and demands payment using a gift card is always a scammer. ALWAYS!
