City Of Byron recently issued the following announcement.
This year, Fire Prevention Week is Oct. 9 through Oct. 15. The Byron Fire Department will host an open house on Monday, Oct. 10 between 5 and 8 p.m. at the fire hall at 707 Frontage Road NW to kick off the week, said Fire Chief Matt Grant.
There are numerous activities planned for the open house and the department’s firefighting and first responder trucks and equipment will be on display. Bring your family and view the displays, participate in the activities, and learn important fire safety tips. #WeAreByron
