City Of Canton issued the following announcement on Apr. 28.
CITY IMPROVEMENTS: Check out the before and after photos of our storage building on East Prairie Avenue (the former school bus shed). It definitely needed some work, with the majority of it coming in the form of volunteer labor. A big thank you to our community members who helped build the new sliding doors and to Councilman Randy Gossman for leading the effort.
Jon and Jim hung the doors, with the final one going up this week. In addition to the enhanced appearance, the building is now completely secure. Total material and outside labor costs came to under $4,000. The council allocated up to $5,000 for the project.
