City of Austin issued the following announcement on Oct. 31.
Due to the court ruling yesterday, mailed ballots received after November 3rd will not be counted. Please do NOT mail in your ballot anymore if you are voting absentee. You can deliver your ballot to the drop box on the main floor of City Hall, 500 4th Avenue NE or vote in person on Election Day at the Holiday Inn.
