City of Canton issued the following announcement on Sept. 15.
The Canton City Council has approved the 2021 preliminary operating budget, with proposed expenses totaling $253,000. As a result, the council set a 4% increase to the tax levy for next year. Over the next few weeks, we'll be working to reduce that percentage -- hopefully down to zero. Do you support the City of Canton's preliminary budget for 2021?
