CITY OF CALEDONIA: City Hall, the Police Department, and the Public Library to Open Wednesday, May 27

Open

City of Caledonia issued the following announcement on May 21.

City Hall and the Police Department will be opening to the public starting on Wednesday, may 27 with their regular hours from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.

The Public Library will also be opening on Wednesday, May 27 with limited hours from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Tuesday – Friday and 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays. The library director and Library Board have also put requirements in place for those that visit the Public Library. Only 10 people total will be allowed in the library at one time (with staff). For safety reasons, a mask is required for all patrons & staff. No mask, no entry. Computer usage is limited to 1 hour time slots per individual. No group entry into the library, individuals only. Social distancing practices and sanitizing will be enforced.

We are still encouraging residents to pay their utility bills online, by phone, or in the drop box outside of City Hall. The City will also continue to waive credit card service charges for utility bills paid over the phone. The City Auditorium will continue to be closed to the public until there is further guidance from the governor’s office for the number of persons allowed in indoor recreational facilities. We ask that everyone continues to practice good hygiene, use safe social distancing measures, and to stay home if you are not feeling well.
