City of Austin issued the following announcement on April 30.
The Austin Transfer Station will be reopening to the public on Monday, May 4th, 2020 with expanded hours.
• Expanded Public Hours, May 4th thru May 16th
o Mon. – Fri., 11:00am to 5:00pm
o Saturday, 7:00am to Noon
• Normal Public Hours, May 18th and beyond
o Tues. & Thur., 1:00pm to 5:00pm
o Saturday, 7:00am to Noon
Residents are asked to be patient with long lines, maintain social distancing, wear a source control mask when unloading and making payment. Thank you.
