Rep. Barb Haley thanked Pepin Industries for producing face shields. | Facebook
Rep. Barb Haley thanked Pepin Industries in Lake City, Minnesota, for re-tooling its company to produce personal protective face shields.
Pepin Industries has shifted its business to create face shields for Mayo Clinic, which will help local doctors and health care workers stay safe while caring for patients, Haley said on Facebook.
After thanking Pepin Industries for helping the community, Haley asked Minnesota residents to share their stories with her on how people are making a difference during the pandemic
"I know there are great things going on all around our community to help respond to this pandemic. Please share your stories with me at Rep.barb.haley@house.mn," Haley said on Facebook.
Pepin Industries is an industrial manufacturer of paint that has been passed down through three generations, the company's website said. Armand Pepin founded the company in 1958, but now his grandson David Pepin is head of the company. It produces many different types of paints from aluminum to latex and is know for high quality coatings.
