City of Canton issued the following announcement on Feb. 4.
In 2019, the City of Canton used 7,945,040 gallons of water. To put that in perspective, according to the United States Geological Survey, it would take nearly 200,000 bathtubs to hold that much water. If you were going to fill a swimming pool with nearly 8 million gallons, it would need to be 2,136 feet long by 400 feet wide by 10 feet deep. To put that in perspective, a football field (including end zones) is 360 feet long by 160 feet wide. So, you can see, that's a lot of water!
