City of Chatfield issued the following announcement on Jan. 29.
The Chatfield Police Department sends its condolences to the friends and family of former Fillmore County Chief Deputy Kevin Beck, who died this week. Kevin started with the Sheriff's Department in 1995, and retired as Chief Deputy. For those of us who worked with Kevin, he will be missed.
