City of Austin issued the following announcement on Nov. 25.
A snow emergency in the City of Austin will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26 and be in effect for 72 hours. Parking in the business areas of the City is prohibited between 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Parking in residential areas shall be on the EVEN sides of the street on EVEN days and the ODD sides of the street on ODD days. 8:00 a.m. is the time to switch your vehicle for the new day.
