The City of Caledonia is seeking applicants for a manger of the Caledonia liquor store. This full-time position is responsible for managing all aspects of a municipal liquor store (off-sale), such as buying, pricing, advertising, stocking, staffing, enforcing City liquor store policies and procedures, and selling packaged beverages to generate cash flow and a net profit. Duties also include tasks of a cashier/store clerk. Minimum qualifications include a high school degree or equivalent; experience in the management of a liquor establishment or related experience with knowledge of basic accounting, merchandising, and inventory control procedures; and knowledge of liquor/tobacco laws and marketing/advertising requirements. Pay is between $19.48-$24.13/hr., with hiring range of $19.48-$22.40/hr., plus benefits including health insurance, vacation leave, and holidays.
