City of Bellechester issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.
Notice is hereby given that there will be a Public Hearing of the Bellechester City Council at the Bellechester Community Center, Bellechester, MN, at their regular meeting on December 9th at 6:30 for the purpose of consideration of the Floodplain Ordinance #34, as required to participate in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
The ordinance text in consideration would comply with the standards of Section 60.3 (c) of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) including adoption of the effective Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) and Flood Insurance Study (FIS) report.
Any and all person(s) desiring to be heard shall be given an opportunity at the above stated time and place. Text of the Floodplain Ordinance #34 in consideration can be found below.
