City of Caledonia issued the following announcement on Nov. 4.
Animal licenses should be purchased before January 1 of each year. The cost for the license is $10.00. They are available at the Caledonia Police Department.
If your license is not obtained before January 1, a late fee of $2.00 will be assessed starting January 1 and every month thereafter. A citation may also be issued.
Private ownership cannot exceed three of either species (cats & dogs).
You should also make sure that your pets’ rabies vaccination is up to date.
