Congressman Brad Finstad, who represents Minnesota’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted local agricultural innovation and infrastructure improvements in a series of posts on his social media account.
On February 2, 2026, Finstad expressed gratitude for a recent visit to a research facility, stating: “Huge thanks to my friends at the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute (AURI) for having me last week. Finstad has served as U.S. Representative for Minnesota’s 1st District since 2022 after succeeding Jim Hagedorn. He previously served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2003 to 2009 and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. Born in New Ulm in 1976, Finstad continues to reside there while representing his district.
