Brad Finstad highlights agricultural innovation and infrastructure funding for Minnesota communities

Congressman Brad Finstad, who represents Minnesota’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted local agricultural innovation and infrastructure improvements in a series of posts on his social media account.

On February 2, 2026, Finstad expressed gratitude for a recent visit to a research facility, stating: “Huge thanks to my friends at the Agricultural Utilization Research Institute (AURI) for having me last week. I visited AURI’s Bioindustrial Innovation Center in Waseca to see firsthand how they’re turning cutting-edge science into real-world solutions, driving the next wave of https://t.co/TMQJtlkJIb”.

Later that day, he announced federal funding for water infrastructure in Manchester: “CHECK THIS OUT $1,750,000 in federal funds is headed to Manchester! I’m proud to secure this important funding, which will help replace their 70-year-old asbestos cement watermain and will improve the city’s ability to protect the drinking water supply for the residents of https://t.co/QYnd69SInr”.

In another post on February 2, Finstad acknowledged RDO Equipment Co., writing: “The folks at RDO Equipment Co. understand the needs of farm country and are committed to providing quality service to customers who keep rural America running. Founded by a potato farmer, RDO knows our #MN01 way of life and tells the rural story every day. Thanks to the team in https://t.co/xoIqS42KYr”.

Finstad has served as U.S. Representative for Minnesota’s 1st District since 2022 after succeeding Jim Hagedorn. He previously served in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2003 to 2009 and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. Born in New Ulm in 1976, Finstad continues to reside there while representing his district.
